1-
Chosei Motobu "Eye witness to History"
For anyone
interested in history - this is a "must have" video
(hanshi
- 9th dan - Chosei Motobu (Born 1925 -) Son Of Choki Motubu (1870-1944)
Performs naihanchi - nai-han-chi - Kata 1 and 2! Exactly as taught to him by
his father.
Naihanchi was Choki Motubu's favorite kata. Contrary to popular belief, Choki
Motubu knew many of the "Traditional" Okinawan
katas, but put his emphasis upon "effective fighting techniques" as opposed to spending his time practicing kata.
Chosei
assisted by tatsushi - 8th dan - Takeji Inaba:
Shows and breaks down Choki Motobu's "Classic" 12 fighting
techniques.
Then in the seminar they teach all 12 of the techniques.
Of historical importance: Chosei Motobu will clear up -- once and for all -- the relationship (if any) between James M. Mitose and Choki Motobu.
