This is worst economy we have ever seen
Under no circumstance even consider open a full time studio now
Last year one half of all the Martial Arts Studios went out of business, and
most that have survived are part time teaching mainly kids and most of the kids
are under 8 years of age
If you do not currently run a studio you may want to considers teaching the Martial Arts "PART TIME" to bring in extra income. I will be covering this in more detail.
When you see the "Click here" in means there is an expanded follow up
You can still make a living running a studio but you
must follow a set of rules:
1. Keep your overhead low.
2. Do everything yourself
3. Location, Location, Location - now more than ever
4. Yellow pages are a thing of the past - you must lean to use the Web.
5. You can still make a good living with only 50-60 students.
6. Don't think teaching MMA will save you - don't even consider it.
7. Contracts are a thing of the past - few if any Health Studios use them
anymore. In my area you can join a Health Studio for $9.95 a month - no
contract.
8. Cash flow
is the key to survival - Click here
I will be adding more to this list with links to pages to fully explain what you
must do.
Welcome to the World Economy
Welcome to Free Trade
The two big lies
1. The Big Depression was caused because we did not have
free trade
2. Everyone benefits from free trade
The only one who benefits from free trade are large Multi-National; companies that can exploit developing countries and get cheep labor.
Under free trade, not onen good paying job has been created in the U.S. All the jobs created have been overseas.
Show me one product produced in the United States that a person making .37 cent and hour can afford.
An oversimplification of there problem with
the United States Economy
ECONOMY 101:
You cannot have cheap prices at Wal Mart
and
Good paying jobs
For Wal Mart to have low prices they must Squeeze
their supplies for the lowest possible prices. To accomplish this the supplies
must buy products from countries with low - cheap labor. Or move their factories
to countries where there is cheap labor - no, or few regulations - no health
insurance - no workman's comp. And their only real problem is finding out who
they have to bribe to stay in business.
For other companies such as Target, K-Mark - Sears - to be able
to compete with Wal Mart they must do the same thing. Just look around the room you
are in, can you find one produce made in the United States.
Dell has just announced they are closing their plan in South Carolina and
shipping 900 jobs overseas. To better serve their customers was their reason.
The NBA uniforms have always been made in a factor in NY. They are closing down
the factory and the uniforms will now be made in Taiwan.
and the list goes on and on.
The bad news for the middle class of America, a good paying job is now $10
a hour. If you can find one, and most have to benefits.
